Quiana

Quiana Erb, a Virginia Beach native, who always danced at home as a child, began her formal dance studies at the University of Virginia to fulfill a physical education credit. She went on to receive her B.A. in dance at Old Dominion University where she fell in love with flamenco during a residency with Gloria de Jerez. She continued dancing with Gloria post-graduation as a member of Flamenco Vision Dance Company, alongside Bianca Zaldivar, and performed at numerous events throughout the region. Quiana continued her studies in Spain under Juan Polvillo during the 2002 Bienal Flamenco de Sevilla, with Rebecca Wilson in Virginia and Clarita Filgueiras in Miami, among many others and has continued to return to Sevilla and New York for training and inspiration.  She has performed flamenco in hotel resorts, dance showcases, orchestra concerts, corporate events, and intimate private events in her native Virginia Beach as well as abroad, including being an invited artist at Artisphere in North Carolina, for the Board of Governors of CDB in the Cayman Islands, and performing live on Cayman National Television for the NCVO Telethon. In 2022, she met Daniela and reconnected with Bianca after twenty years in a dance class.  Shortly after, Las Lolas Flamencas Dance Company was born. Quiana feels most alive when dancing and loves to share that feeling with others through performance and instruction.
